Why can't my student log in?

Here are common reasons for authentication issues.

Account doesn't exist

Check that your student's account exists by navigating to the Students page from the top nav bar in your class. Check that their email address is in the table of students.

Invalid credentials

If your student does show up in your Students table, they may be entering invalid credentials when trying to log in. Your student can click on Forgot password? on theĀ  Log in pageĀ  in order to reset their password.

Duplicate accounts

If your student shows up twice in your Students table, you can click on Actions, and then on Remove Student.

Reset your student's password

  1. OnĀ  your classesĀ , click on the intended class name.
  2. Go to the top, click on Students
  3. Click on the dropdown menu for Actions
  4. Click on Reset password
  5. This will send an email to you, the teacher. Copy the reset password link to send to your student.
